Ok... all I remember is a mom and a daughter (preteen-ish) are living in a house and a guy whose daughter died either owns the house or is the lawn guy. There's a music box that stands out because it belonged to the "lawnguy"'s daughter, who was murdered. (random memory: the living daughter sees something written in a window but it was written backwords...) At the end, the murdered daughter is taken up through a ray of light and it's in a barn or something.
I think it came out mid-eighties. I hope someone can help me!!! I'd love to see it again.
