Yes, I own both of them. I LOVE Rich Girl-I think you'd love it. It is about a Rich Girl who decides to not take her Dad's money and gets a job in a night club, and falls in love with the lead singer of the band, and she ends up singing with them...they are kind of a rocker band-so I think it is right up your alley.
Tomboy- I like Betsy Russell- that's why I got this movie...it is watchable, but the storyline is pretty weak, but for the "type" of movie it is, ya gotta take it for what it is.

Definitely "Rich Girl" over "Tomboy". I love Betsy Russell from "Private School", but this movie was not very good.

Actually, Donna Wilkes was in the original "Angel", but Betsy Russell was in "Avenging Angel" which was the sequel. If the movie had Mae it was probably the first one (unless there were flashbacks in the second movie) because he was victim of the killer in the first one.

Well, the movie I recommend for Betsy Russell over Tomboy would probably be Out of Control- it is actually pretty scary, and I think it is more up your alley-mamamia.
My favorite Jill movie...which I don't know if you've seen, but I think you'd love is Curse 2-The Bite.
Phoebe can do wrong...I didn't like her at all in Date with an Angel, or even Paradise, and I won't even bring myself to watch Drop Dead Fred. She is one person that doesn't look good with short hair, and every movie she had awful hair in, I didn't like her. Jill cut her hair all off before too-and I hated her hair short. Betsy actually cut her hair all off too- I guess everyone does at some point, but I definately like them keeping their hair long.

Hands down Rich Girl. I watched Tomboy the other day and it was not good. A few scenes were very awkward to me. I didn't realize Tomboy was Betsy Russell until recently either. It wasn't a complete waist...whoops....waste as It did show plenty of skin so I'll applaud the writers for that.
BTW. If you haven't seen Betsy Russell in awhile you should Google her. She is hotter than she was back in the 80s.

That is so funny, to see this topic from long ago,and to see people commenting- who I had forgot all about. I got to meet Jill Schoelen and Betsy Russell, and Jill is so down to Earth and such a sweetheart, I talk to her alot on Facebook now. Betsy was pretty nice too. Rich Girl is definitely the better movie (to me)- I love that movie. Jessie- you should see it.
