Recieved my DVD copy on friday and watched it several times. I used to LUV this movie back when I was a litle kid so I was more than axious to get back to those good ol'days.
I was very happy to see that the transfer was very clean and sound was excellent. The disc offered a director commentary which I kind of found to be boring but hey, it's cool that they included that.
Oh God, Chris Atkins.. that guy should never get dressed. I could have watched him with his shirt off forever. I forgot how tiny Kristy McNichol is. Sheesh. They really didn't have any chemistry (IMO, of course)but it was fun to see them fake it. I wish the soundtrack was out on CD or iTunes.

Damn this was an entertaining musical! I liked most of the tunes and would buy the soundtrack in an instant if i could find it. Everyone here knows that i love Kristy McNichol and once again she´s a peach. Chris Atkins is her love interest and Ted Hamilton plays the Pirate King. Lots of fun dialogue plus Pink Panther and Star Wars spoofs. Another enjoyable razzie winner!

I always quite liked - the best little whorehouse in Texas with Reynolds and parton, that was a fun movie musical!
