I've just seen that the 'Modern Problems' DVD (starring Chevy Chase) has been scheduled to be released in the US on February 22nd.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this comedy? After reading the synopsis on 'Imdb' it sounds rather stupid - yet good - and I'd quite like to see it.
If anyone can't remember; its the one where his girlfriend moves out, and a truck full of toxic waste makes him green. He discovers that it has given him the power of telekinesis, and he uses his new powers to try and win back his girlfriend.
Anything would be appreciated!

Grems this movie was way silly, but I thought it was hilarious. If you are a Chevy Chase fan it is definitely a must see.

It's a mid-level Chevy film, and the best of the series of relatively weak ones from the early 80s. Several moments are hilarious, like the opening credits sequence where his car malfunctions on him, and his highjinks at the ballet. Although Chev was lucky to come out of this one alive; the lights they'd strung on him during the dream sequence where he imagines he's a plane shorted out during one take and almost electrocuted him. But it takes a lot more to stop the Chevster; that's why he's him and we're not.

Not a great movie. Nell Carter does a good job as the maid, but otherwise this movie you are not worse off for not seeing. Not that many memorable lines.

I liked it because I am a big Chevy fan of all of his 80s stuff. My favorite scene would probablly have to the the telekinetic orgasms that he makes Patti D'Arbanville's character have. The looks on his face are just priceless. Also the first movie that he starred in where one of the character's names was Dorita. The second was Funny Farm, That was Claude Musselman's mistress that was mentioned by the Sheriff--Miss Dorita Freeburger.
