For years I have put off watching this movie cuz I had heard it was "gritty" and "disturbing". I finally ordered a $3.00 vhs of it from eBay. Has anyone seen it yet?

I've seen this movie before, it stars Michael Rooker...better known by me as Rowdy from "Days Of Thunder". The movie is very disturbing and contains graphic violence. It will make you very leary of strangers, heck even answering your own door at night.

I've never seen this movie either Mama'. But I too have been told how disturbing it can be. I believe over here it was released heavily censored at first, but now the full uncut version is available.

Was this the movie that was loosely based on real life serial killer Henry Lee Lucas? If so i was always more of a fan of his sidekick Ottis Toole.

" a fan" ?????????? Bwahahahahaah... okay now Im afraid of you....
yes, it is sort of loosley based on henry Lee Lucas. Even without seeing the movie I know all the storys about henry, Otis and Otis's sister.
These movies are usually the scariest cuz they are more real than the boogey man movies.
