For me, it's the first "Airplane!", followed by "Top Secret!"
To my knowledge, the team of Z/A/Z didn't do the "Airplane 2: The Sequel". I thought it was done by others.

This is a tough one, but I'd have to put my money on the first Naked Gun film for sheer lunacy (plus it has the best net scenes that for some reason they always seem to cut out from the theatrical release but add to the TV one, including great additional scenes of Frank Drebin destroying Vincent Ludwig's office). Top Secret comes in a close second for me.

I follow Chris with The Naked Gun. The jokes were recognizable, but new, and I dont remember which of the 3 it was, had a scene with OJ in a BIG FRICKIN AFRO!!!! Classic in itself!

I'd have to go with Airplane! followed closely by The Naked Gun. Z/A/Z obviously got the best drugs.

I'm a huge fan of dark humour, and this movie has me in bellyfits from start to end! Maybe it has something to do with the great cast - who just couldn't be better in my opinion - and how quick the pacing is with its many twists and turns!
It never fails to make me laugh out loud though, no matter how many times I watch it! It's definately their best in my opinion!
They certainly out-do the Farrelly Brothers for comedy anyway!

I guess I'd say Airplane cuz there were more characters to get into. Hays, Hagerty, Bridges, Johnny, Kareem, Stack, they were classics. On the dvd commentary they claim to have never seen Airplane II, don't know if I believe that.
Then Naked Gun, Naked Gun II had good life left, Naked Gun III was a little labored.
Top Secret I never got into and Ketucky Fried Movie was awful.
Ruthless People I wouldn't have thought of because they only directed it, but a great film.
Their last few efforts have been embarrassing. High School High, Baseketball, and Scary Movie 3. I was watching SM3 saying "I wonder what the ZAZ team would think of this crap?" To my utter shock their names came up in the credits.
Erm, I don't think Brain Donors was a ZAZ. A real underrated flick, but I know one of their regular writers Pat Proft did it.

"I just want to say, we're all counting on you" "I picked the wrong week to give up amphetimines" "We have to get this man to a hospital" "What is it?" "It's a big building with patients, but that not important right now"
My favorite line though is from Flying High 2 - "Doctor, what's your impression of Mr Stryker? "I don't do impressions, I'm a psychiatrist!"

Stitch thats fantastic...that is totally the best line in the movie.I believe it was John Vernon who played the psychiatrist. So was Airlpane 2 called Flying High 2 in Australia? 'cos i never heard it called that before. Recently in a UK film magazine,Airplane 2 was voted as having the best visual gag in a movie ever. And which scene was it i hear you cry... Why the one with The Shatner of course, talking on the viewer screen before revealing that he was actually standing behind the window in a door. Hilarious stuff. I personally dont think the team of Z,A and Z have ever made a duff film yet. They are all really funny.

Yeah Smayt, both films were called Flying High and Flying High 2 over here. I don't know why. But I reckon they are actually funnier titles than "Airplane", although I do realise that title comes from the "Airport" series of disaster films.

I agree with you here McFly. Airplane has got to be one of the funniest. After watching The Naked Gun recently it is pretty funny as well.
Seeing Ricardo Montelban eating a hot dog and pulling out a finger and a ring was priceless.

The 'jive' scenes are priceless still to this day. In 2, when the 'brotha' is giving the oath and the clerk of the court 'slaps him five' with the Bible is too funny!

Im going to give another vote to Ruthless People. When I first saw that movie I laughed so hard I cried. I know there are many people that dont care for the movie but IMO its one of the funniest movies ever.
