Well, each movie that gets a 10 merits an award, but Ferris played hookie again and we had to mark him down.
The rating for the movie is all up to whoever wrote the review, and it's entirely their decision. Don't take it so hard! There's a lot of us who probably thought it deserved higher scores, too.
Me, personally, I don't mind.

Stop the insanity....good point Lupa. Also, notice that Ed Rooney wrote the review. He said FBDO was a good movie except the ending really bites him.
I would have given this movie at least an 8.6.
How many of you tried driving your parent's car backwards to try to get the miles off?

Then again, if it was him, you'd expect it to be significantly lower, say, around 0.7 at the highest.
