Well I think I will cover this one today. Starring Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney, and Ann Reiking (sp)?? star in this musical about a little orphaned red head girl that gets the chance of a lifetime: to spend a week living with a millionaire. Daddy Warbucks ends up falling in love with her and wanting to keep her but others have other ideas. Miss Hannigan and her awful brother and sister-in-law scheme up a plan to get money out of Daddy Warbucks. Cute dancing and musical numbers in this flick.
It is a shame that Aileen Quinn hasn't been in anything else, I would love to see what she looks like today.
My favorite scene of the movie is when Annie arrives at the Warbucks mansion and gets introduced to all of the workers. I love the dance sequence and when they try to give Sandy a bath.
What are your memories of this 1982 musical drama?

I love Annie....I just watched it over Thanksgiving with my 6 year old cousin and my sister. My little cousin had never seen it. She was in "ahhhh" of her much older cousins ablities to sing every song from the movie. Plus she loved it too.
You can't forgot Miss Hannigan....Carol Burnett! She was so awesome. My fav Tim Curry.... actually quite handsome in this one...and Berandette Peters. I noticed a very young Amanda Peterson (miss mancini) as an orphan and the girl from the first cast of Charles in Charge...her name escapes me at the moment. (Did I just not prove what a geek I am?)
I rememeber actually seeing an adult picture of Aileen Quinn somehow....maybe on here back when. She almost looked the same redhair and freckles.
ok i'm off to sing it's a hardknock life while doing laundry.....My mother actually brought up as when I was a child how great I was at singing "the sun will come out tommorow"
