Which brings to mind of the movie!
I saw it on VHS video several years after it came out, and enjoyed it.
David Byrne narrates several stories of odd events in a small (fictional) town in Texas, and the strange characters in it.
I remember reading in some music publication, that Byrne got the idea from collecting numerous odd stories about "average citizens" (that is, non-celebrities) from tabloid magazines.
It's strange, odd, quirky, but innocent... Just like the Talking Heads group!
According to the imdb.com, Bryne and the other Talking Heads members could not participate in the Live Aid concert because they were too busy working on this film.
So, to reiterate Eddie's question: has anyone else seen and enjoyed this quirky movie?
