I need help in finding the name of a movie. I am unsure if it was early 80's or late 70's. I only remember one 5-7 minute segment from the movie. There was this boy traveling with an older gentleman. They stop in what I suppose was a village. The leader of the village was a woman. She wanted to talk to the boy alone so they went to a tent. The boy began to tell his story. The woman ends up turning into a giant spider. The older gentleman comes in and kills the woman spider. This is all I remember of the movie when I was a child. If you guys can help, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I know it's not this movie (and I know I'll generate loads of responses berating me!) but at the moment the only 'swords and sorcery' movie I can recall with a Spider Woman in it was Krull....

Noms it is one of those sword and sorcery movies if I recall. Can you remember any other parts or ideas? I remember Krull vividly since I seen it a countless of times but with this other movie, I have to assume I only saw it once or twice since that is the only part I am able to remember.

The sword and soceru epic i remember most is er.. the Sword and the Sorceror starring Lee Horseley. But i dont remember any giant spider woman. Its not Conan the Barbarian is it? What about The Barbarians starring those twins? Theres another one but i cant remember the title.. but it had Jack Palance in it as the bad guy. Theres more of these movies than you think..and they all seem to come from the 80's.

Hey guys it's "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom", one of my favourite 'bad' movies of the 80s, right alongside "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II" which has nothing to do with the first film other than the name oh and you HAVE to check out the reviews on the IMDB (click the links)

Once again The Wizard proves there is more up his sleeve than a simple arm. Sorcery indeed.

I always wanted to write a screenplay - it would have been a fantasy and adventure movie set in a tea-shop, where rampant hordes of black-magic villans were defeated bu the good wizard in time for his afternoon tea.
You never see this kind of cup-and-sourcery movie, do you?

Paul maybe you should just stick to lovin' "Some Kind Of Wonderful" and leave the screenplays to someone else.
