Does anyone know what he's been up to lately? I know he was on tour with Styx and REO Speedwagon in about 2001 or 2002.
I was in a Sam Goody store today looking at an acoustic guitar (my kid wants one for Christmas)and noticed the brand name of it was Squier. Does anybody know if he was anything to do with it?

I saw BON JOVI in the late 80s and Billy Squier was thier "special guest". I jumped to my feet and screamed and cheered. The people I was with were like "What the f---?" I have been a fan of his before I was even into rock or metal. When I was a little kid I remember them playing STROKE ME on the radio. His IN THE DARK album was one of my favorites. And MY KIND OF LOVER I still listen to. No ...I dont knwo what he's been up to...anyone should buy his GREATEST HITS though......its good!

I don't really know what happened to Billy Squier either. But I do know there is a slight renewed interest in his music since Britain's hottest rapper Dizzee Rascal samples Billy's The Big Beat in it. It's a slamming track, I just wish Big Beat could be found on any of his greatest hit collections. Never have come across it, I think it's from his first album. Funny, Dizze Rascal is actually on the new Band-Aid remake of Do they know it's X-mas, but in my opinion his rap is just wrong for the song and it kind of ruins it.
