I heard that a 20th anniversary edition of Ghostbusters is due for release. I first read it is coming out in october this year but now it says early 2005. Does anyone else know of thid dvd? I read it will be a two disc version so it will probably be cool and well worth replacing the collector's series edition by columbia tristar.

I haven't heard anything about this, but I hope it's true. I love Ghostbusters. I just bought a 14" Stay Puft man at a comic convention. Now I want to get the big die-cast Ecto 1. There were some guys at the convention dressed up as the Ghostbusters. They even had proton packs on their backs that lit up and flashed.

I would love to see more of what went during the filming of that movie. I love to get to go back on some of these special edition DVD and see interviews that were done during filming. It is like finding a lost piece of history. You get to see something from your favorite time but it is all brand new to you.
I wish that they would make #3 on this. I would totally go. I think that the whole gang needs to get back together and show everyone that they still have it. What do you all think?

That would be awesome to have them back in action for one more movie.

If it can be done properly, I'd give everything to see #3 reach fruitation. And if Ivan Reitman isn't open, I think Harold Ramis would be more than qualified to direct. Let's just see if Columbia would be willing to provide the necessary funds, which seems to be a primary factor in it not reaching us yet.
