Not any info on this site about the Kevin Bacon, Sean Astin flick.. Why is that ? where is the White Water Summer Page?

Awesome movie, but I don't think a classic that would get a page.
But very underrated anyway. Bacon and Astin are great (also had much used 80s teen Matt Adler and "Eddie" from Growing Pains, K.C. Martel), the stunts are terrific, the score was great, the cinematography was great...
But still it sat on the shelf for two years and the critics beat it up.

Wow, never knew that, Nick. Pretty generous. Just figured you wrote all those great descriptions on all the movies.

I watched White Water Summer (1987) and it was awesome!
Great acting from the guys! Nice to see Kevin Bacon and Sean Astin in action again. Matt Adler, Jonathan Ward and K.C. Martel also did a good job.
The movie included fantastic cinematography! I just don´t understand how they could shoot all those scenes. No wonder the film is dedicated to its director of photography, John Alcott, who previously worked on several Stanley Kubrick projects. This and No Way Out were his last movies.
The soundtrack rocks! Journey, The Cult, Bruce Hornsby and The Range, Cutting Crew, Mike Slamer penned Mark Boals track... Huge stuff!

Wimbledon would be a pain to go to! Why is this some kind of HMV exclusive? I thought it was just getting a total (limited) re-release?! Grrr!

I'm clueless (literally). I thought it was getting re-released, but now I'm seeing all this 'HMV exclusive' stuff I just don't know.
