where would you choose to be able to go in a time machine. I would love to go back to anytime between '84 and '86. But I would like to visit other places besides just my life. I would love to meet ISIS, Mamamiasweetpeaches, McFly, C.T., Cindymanchini, Jules, and many others I can't think of right now. I would like to see how your lives were at that time.
Where would you guys like to visit in a time machine. If you could go back in time or go forward to anytime where would it be and why would you choose to go there???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Interesting - gives me a chance for a rambling post!
I've thought about this a bit, and want to add an extra dimension for any other answers - the Time Machine is single-use, as in you can only go, you can't come back. I'll use up the one about going forwards in time to when they have invented multiple-use time machines (kinda like asking the Genie to grant you unlimited wishes!)
Gong forwards in time would be great, unless I found out stuff happening to people I loved that was bad. I'd love to be in 'star-trek' time, but I'm not that much of a geek.... honest!
As for going back? If I could also get younger I guess it would be cool, cos I did the 80s from ages 15-25, so I don't need to re-live them as an older guy.
Honest answer is that I'd stay where I am now. Going back would be too easy to change something, and I can't imagine having my life, with friends, family, loved ones and memories, any different than it is today.

I would love to go back and relive it all again, the whole entire decade. It was so fun for me, and there's people like my Grandparents and my Aunt and my Dad, that I would give anything to go back in time and be with them again.
I wouldn't change a thing though about my past or I would not have the present that I have now.
It is funny how every choice you make does change your life forever. Like if you would have changed just 1 small thing in your life in the past where would you be now?
I would have liked to have seen Valley play a basketball game, but I think if I would have meet up with him in the 80's, it would have been a major life altering experience- I am so shur, and then some, I know his Letterman's jacket would have been mine!!
I feel like in away I did know you guys in the 80's, we were watching the same stuff on tv, and at the movies, and listening to the same music-for the most part-and we grew up in similiar towns, and played the same games, and ate the same foods, so it is really cool when you think about that type of stuff that connects us all together.

I wish I could go back and relive it at the age I am now. Just to see what the experience for people that are my age now. I would love to be a single 30 year old woman in 1984!!! I would already know now what I didn't know then, that would be really fun.

I would be two years younger than you and you'd brush me off as "that kid probably has a crush on me", heh heh.
This question comes up now and then on here, and the tough decision I always make is that I wouldn't go back cuz I'd miss what I have now. If I went back to the mid 80s, all my fave shows wouldnt be in reruns yet, movies unavailable cuz they don't exist yet, no internet, directv. It'd be too tough. But...if I was forced...1984, that's when things started gettin' good.

JLP937 you took the thought right out my head cause what you said you'll do that's pretty much what i was going to say. I would love to be the same age as i am now but only in 1983! I think you probably know where i'm going with this.... I even know the exact day! Friday April 29, 1983 the San Fernando Galleria movie theater. So I can go see VALLEY GIRL the first day it came to the theaters

Okay, good question. I would go back to 1985, and I would like to take the knowledge that I have now, so that I wouldn't make any stupid mistakes. Of course most of my stupid mistakes, didn't come until the 90's, so I would have to stay there a while. That would be so awesome. That would be awesome getting to meet all of you back then.

This is a paradox question...to go back which everyone would like to do, but it might change your future. Wow, cool to think about, but don't mess with the past it will bite you like Muffy fer sure.
Well Isis your memory must be starting to fail you. I mean you came to my basketball game and kept yelling nice "tassh" ValleyCat! Let me say very distracting and difficult to concentrate on scoring, especially when I continiously stuck my "tassh" out so you could get a better look. Anyway, I sent you my letterjacket you goof...wait did Muffy swipe it while she was visiting or something. I mean Muffy likes those Letterman, but I thought Swimmers was more her thing.

Right GOOF, Muffy is holding out for her own Letterman's Jacket, and Yeah I hear she likes those GYMNUTS.
GOOF-I wanna go back in time and get your Lettermen's jacket, when it was all fresh and wearable. Not the moth eaten, dust covered, moldy thing you FED EXed me, even though I know you still hold it dear to your heart, and I will always value it. It just doesn't seem the same, ya know, as the Glory days of when it was once New. But ...I guess I'll take what I can get-
