I see that D&D is 30 yrs old this year. I remeber playing that game in the '70s & '80s. Did anyone else play it? Remember that college student that led a group of kids into some sewer tunnels and played the game for real and flipped out and started killing people or something. They made that movie about it starring Tom Hanks called Mazes And Monsters. After that happened my parents didn't want me playing it anymore...but I still played it. I had the miniature of my character and all the stat sheets on him. The Character I always used was "Hawk The Slayer." Which I named from the tv movie of the same name. Does anyone remember that cheesy movie? I also used that character name on all the Ultima computer games. D&D was awesome...especially the Dragonlance campaing. The cartoon, however, sucked a big fatty!
