I have got to let any eerie/horror movie lover know that paperhouse is one 80's flick you dont want to miss. It is way ahead of its time. It puts alot of other movies in its genre to shame. And as soon as i saw it, it became one of my top ten fave 80's movies! thats how good i think it is. cheers, sweetie Posts: 28 | From: Australia | Registered: Jul 2004 | Site Updates: 0

I remember watching 'paperhouse' with my gran one saturday night... I must have been about 9 years of age, and the only thing I can remember is that I hid countless times behind her arm because I thought it was really scary!
I haven't actually seen the movie again since, so thank you so much Kat for reminding me to check it out! The same goes for 'Flowers in the Attic,' and 'Clowhouse,' which I haven't seen for a good many years too!

It's one of my favourite films, mum read the book to me and my brother as a bedtime story when we were kids so the story has been kinda ingrained into my memory since I was young, I even did the review of the film on this site, check it out. I wrote a lot more for the review but Nick decided to cut it short halfway through so the full story isn't ruined before you watch it, which looking at it now was the right thing to do. If anyone wants I can post the rest here.
