Which Breakin' soundtrack would you buy first if they were put back in print? I'd buy the first one. Which is your favorite?

I have the first one on vinyl and that’s the one I like most. It wouldn’t hurt though if they both were to be released on CD someday, but… I don’t see that happen real soon.

I also have the first one on vinyl and transferred it to CD, but managed to get the original CD of the 2nd one, would love the original CD of the first.

Hey, Wizard, are you currently selling a copy of the first Breakin' cd on ebay? I'm bidding on a copy from someone with wizard in the screenname.

By the way, TKO, don't forget that 2004 will mark the 20th Anniversary of both films, so there actually is a chance that they will release them. I hope they do!

Me too! Me too!! I have the 1st one on a LP record, it plays perfectly, I play it all the time, it is weird that you posted this topic. I wanted to get Ain't Nobody for my jukebox, it said 45, I was bidding on Ebay, I got the record today, and it is the size of a 33LP, but it only has like 4 songs on it, all by Rufus and Chaka Khan, it won't work in my jukebox, cause it has to be the 45 size with the big hole in it..so now I have to keep looking. I am trying to find Reckless!! If anyone every sees it on a 45 record..tell me please. I like all the music in part 2, but it was more musical.. I like when they do that..de da da..., ba ba bash! -music...and I love the song they do when Turbo is dancing on the ceiling. And I love the title song...I believe in the Beat. It is all great stuff!!!

No, I don't sell bootlegs on eBay. Those prices for the copies of the original CD are way OTT, someone bid $200 on one!

Friend of mine spent a lot of money on a decent record player, he hooked that up to a Mac, digitised it in from there and then I used an audio editor on a PC to clean it up (remove clicks/pops/hiss). You can also use the line-in on a PC's soundcard, using a suitable piece of software to capture the audio.
This going to be my next LP-to-CD transfer: HtDPosts: 1334 | From: UK | Registered: Sep 2002 | Site Updates: 0

Howard the Duck, LOL. I JUST downloaded the title song off Kazaa a couple weeks ago, always loved Lea Thompson's crack at singing. The song has a great beat, too. Demi Moore even did a pretty good job with Dont Look Back from Once Crazy Summer. Gwyneth Paltrow with Crusin' from Duets. They should do a one-time-wonder CD with well known actresses, hehe.
I LOVED I Believe in the Beat, found it on Napster a couple of years ago. Just looked at Kazaa and unfort. nobody has it, but someone has Radiotron.

Haven't had a chance to listen to the LP yet but I did see that the track "Don't Turn Away" was sung by Thomas Dolby on that album and not Lea Thompson as in the film, so I went and won a 12" promo of Howard the Duck which has Lea Thompson singing "Don't Turn Away" on the B side (still waiting for that to arrive)
