What performance did you really enjoy from an actor in a 80s comedy film?.

I`ll probably be alone in this one but I really loved Charles Grodin in The Lonely Guy. In my opinion that was one of the best performces by a comedy actors.

Steve Martin was brill as well(like he was in all his 80s movies).

I agree with you on Steve MArtin. I loved him in The Jerk, All of Me and LA Story. Those were great films!

I also liked Eddie Murphy in 48 Hours and BEverly Hills Cop.

The entire cast of Hamburger The Motion Picture was hilarious, as was Chevy Chase in modern problems.

Wow, somebody other than me saw Hamburger! "America you'e gettin' burger hungry, hungry for the burger that makes you full! You're chompin' for the taste of a buster burger, the one and only buster burger that's full, full of BULL!"

Hard choice, though. Rodney was great in Back to School. I have performances I liked but nobody who blew my doors off in the comedy area. Guttenberg in Police Academy maybe.

yep, definitely worth laughing about. D1ck Butkus was pretty funny in that movie as the drill sergeant Drootin. "well Mia, I have been wanting to take you out for chinese for a while so now is a good time." Think about the boys under the table...LOLOL [Roll Eyes]

"Hamburgers! for America......." That song is always in my head.

Remember there beds? They were giant hamburgers with lettuce and tomato sheets.

I wanted a bed like that too.

And pardon my pig-ness, but I thought it was too clever for the writers to come up with the phrase "Gerkin off" for a burger movie [Smile] .

I loved Rodney Dangerfiels in Back to School, but even though he had a minor role I almost thought Sam Kinison was going to steal the show with his gonzoid version of a history teacher, especially when he was screaming at Dangerfield about his role in Vietnam. Cracks me up every time. He left this world way too soon.
