I don't know. I forgot about Bonkers! I used to like those too, along with velamints and sticklets.

also just do a search for that candy and it will take you to sites that sell it, that's how I got all the candy for my son's b-day party, I got the candy necklaces, candy lipsticks, pop rocks, bottle caps and astro pops. I got wax fangs for the Halloween party.
I am so glad that you started this Ali, I knew we talked about it before, cause I have been trying to find Wacky Wafers... but I just remembered a candy...and that thread about the Friday night show-Small Wonder is what made me remember it...
does anyone else remember Tiny Tarts...they were in a little bag, and looked like gerbil food???.

oh for the party I had lemonheads, and grapeheads and tangy taffy too.
Does anyone else love Boston Baked Beans????
Does anyone remember the gum that was made to look like a big mac, in a little styrofoam container looking thing?
And the gum that looked like a waffle, that you poured this little packet of syrup on???

I remember a candy store near my house that no longer exixts, sold edible paper and edible styrofoam. I bet that sent the wrong message to children.
I also remember the hot dog shaped gum and cigars. My mom didn't want my sister and I to buy the cigar gum or the candy ciggarettes so we hid them from her.
As for Tiny Tarts, weren't those Willy Wonka cady? I used to love those when I was a kid!
If you go to stupid.com, they have great candy from today and from the past. It's very unique, but be warned that some of it looks really disgusting!

I remember this gum that came in pop flavors and was juice filled. They had cherry 7 up and Dr. Pepper as some of the flavors. It was soo good. Then ofcourse you have you 80's staples of pop rocks, bottlecaps, and candy jewelery!

My favorite was Pop Rocks. I know TARGET sometimes has hard-to-find candy. Theres a store called CANDY BARON in California that has hard to find candy, and I believe theres actually some websites that specialize in it. Once when I was in California I saw Marathon bars, remember those? I shouldve picked them up.

What about fake cigarette candy. Talk about sending the wrong message. I also remember those sticks that you used to stick in powdered colored sugar. Yummy! It is funny I still remember the awful taste of the bubble gum that was in with baseball cards too.

I still buy Freshen Up-it is my all time favorite gum...I get it at this big Candy Outlet place that has all the old stuff, and they have the candy cigarettes too, and the cigarette bubble gum, that you blow on them, and the powder comes out like smoke. Spearmint Freshen-up is my favorite gum. I would love to get the pop gum, those were awesome. (I love Dr. Pepper)

All I know is that when I was in Little League I looked just like my Hero George Brett when I put a big dip of BIG LEAGUE CHEW in my mouth. Of course he had chewing tobacco, but the guy behind the counter wouldnt sell me that.
