For those of you who don't know, the Goonies DVD has been out for quite some time now. If you have not seen it I strongly recommend you purchase it or at least rent. It features out-takes that help explain certain prop effects and puzzling dialogue. If you know the movie well then you may already know what I'm talking about. The DVD also features the Cindy Lauper "Good Enough" music video. The best feature on the DVD in my opinion is the (optional) audio/video commentary during the movie. It brings together the entire Goonie gang 16 years after the movie was made. Along with director Richard Donner, the A/V commentary feature in my opinion, is the best thing about the DVD. The director and cast share stories that will not only enlighten you about the cast and the experience of working on the movie, but also have you laughing your butt off. It's that funny.
-Thank You
P.S.-I apologize if this message sounds like a review that you would read on the back of a movie cover or something.

I forgot to mention that during the A/V commentary feature, director Richard Donner hints at the possibility of a Goonies remake. I only mention that because I've read a couple of messages posted on this site that talk about it.

Yeah the commentary was pretty cool on the DVD. It would have been much better if Corey Feldman would have SHUT UP every once and awhile. Some people never got to finish what they were saying because the self proclaimed "80s icon" wouldn't shut his pie hole!

Yeah I agree...there was one part where Sean Astin was telling a story about Cyndi Lauper that sounded pretty interesting but he kept getting interrupted so he never finished it.

I know! I wanted to hear his story so bad and stupid Feldman kept yapping! His like an annoying dog that nips at your ankles and never stops barking. I'd like to kick him in the head.

I've picked up that DVD recently, but haven't watched it yet. It's too bad that Feldmann had to hog the limelight for the commentary, he's a walking soundbite. It's the other costars that I wanted to hear about.
