I am probably not going to be much help, but what I can remember is that it was a kid movie, but not animated. What I remember of the movie was a boy and his mom/grandma was old and sick (going to die)....something happened and he fell thru a mirror in the house and he landed in another land. I can't remember a whole lot, but there was an evil lady there and she had this giant tree of red....(Im not sure what they were, they kinda looked like cherry tomatoes I guess)....and these red things were magical and they would keep you young as long as you ate them...well, the boy stole some of these magical red fruits and when he went to leave he tripped thru the mirror, spilling all the red fruits....
CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
Its been driving me crazy, but I think I was 7 or so the last time I watched it....

*dies* This is exactly the movie I was going to ask about. I remember that the boy had dark brown/black hair and tan skin. I know that he has a stuffed animal or something that comes alive and he washes it on accident and gives it a red baseball cap. He goes through the mirror and there's an elephant there, guarding the with/queen's castle that looks mean and scary but really isnt't. And I think that the grandma in the movie is going to be put in a nursing home by his aunt and if you look at the queen, it's the same actress as his aunt.
Argh, what is this movie?! It's driving me insane.

Not that you two newbies would know, but this same movie has been repetitively asked about by people searching for the title. I think it's called Huggabunch. I've never seen it, but it has become such an asked about topic, I feel like I have seen it more times than I wish I would have. Hope this helps!

simmer down everybody...this is the only place I can go where drama as at the bare minimum. Let's keep it that way, shall we? DEVO is never trying to offend anybody, its just his personality. Man, I sound like a broken record.

Thanks River and Monsoon, obviously I haven't been around enough of late, and people forget my blatant honesty. Please on another thread here I have said that I like Meatballs 3, and someone told me that they can't believe that I admit to having it. You read, you agree or disagree, and then you move on. It wasn't meant to be mean, but if I can help someone out by letting other people know that the movie isn't great, I might be saving them 2 hours on their life that they won't get back.
We are DEVO

Yeah...I just got a copy on Ebay too. I will admit I have an odd taste in movies...I think the reason I want this movie so much is the fact that it was a big part of my childhood....It may not be as great as I remember, but it might....and it might be just as great to my future kids as it was to me.....
Im sorry if I upset someone by asking for this movie....and I do agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinion....even if it is that someone is rude....and the movie sucks...

No need to be sorry for anything gaugs! It wasn't your fault at all. Things just get misinterpreted sometimes on messageboards. I hope you enjoy the movie!
