So many 80s styles are here again. I know these things come in cycles but, there are some of us who have never really stopped dressing or "living" in the 80s.
I've been noticing peeople wearing ties and small ties again. Converse, gloves with missing fingers, t-shirts of 80s bands and so on...
Anyone else notice this trend?

Yep, the 80's style should come back in full swing, is my thinking, cause I miss those clothes so badly..I am tired of wearing my husband's clothes-cause men's clothes are nicer than the women's.. Does anyone remember the hush puppy sweaters with the v-neck, and they were really soft-I had a light blue one, and would kill to have it again. Hunt Club clothes at Penneys-I miss. Give me Some designer jeans. Candies shoes. I wear Tommy Hilfiger and Nike shirts all the time, or Izod, and that's like all there is. There are no shirts for women. It stinks. Did anyone notice that the women on the I love the 80's show were wearing 80's style clothing, like Juliette Lewis, and The Donnas, they are celebrities and I am sure in cities you can still find cool clothes, but the clothes need to spread to mainstream Amercian and everywhere else too.

I noticed trendy stores in the mall by my house are selling clothing that I know was popular in the 80s. They are selling "skinny" jeans which were an 80s staple. Even designers are board with everything and are making 80s styles hip again.
Girls are wearing cargo pants that come just below the knee with stilettos and cute little jackets. That's so 80s!!!
Have of the young people don't even realize that none of these fashions are really new. They're only knew to them!

People are clueless when it comes to our favorite styles. I have seen parachute pants coming back slowly....I should dig out my hyper color shirts....

On the downside you see sme strange things in Quebec. Every now and then you will see someone with a mullet and acid washed jeans. Even a rattail now and then. I've seen this through the 90's and now. So you can say it never really went out of style here.

Well I know that leopard prints were big in the 80's and that has come back..definitely the cargo pants with the spiked heels..(dont get that one.) I wonder if they are going to bring back the stilletto pumps with the baby doll socks?..that was an interesting fad for a while..sorta, if you could pull it off.
I watch Vh1 classics all the time and love seeing the segment called "We are the 80's" Yesterday I saw a video by 10,000 Maniacs and Natalie Merchant was wearing a black long sleeved shirt with spandex pedal pushers and a pink skirt over it. Never understood that style..a skirt over pants..hmmm, I hope that doesnt come back.

What about girls wearing shirts that were way to big with the collars cut out like in Flashdance, with a big ol' belt around their waste. You know what I mean? I hope that never comes back!
