Finally a month after the UK release SplashDVD decided to send me Flight of the Navigator DVD I'd pre-ordered.
Eager to see what the quality was like I gave it a spin, it has a terrible picture what's the DVD market coming to? everyone and their dog now seems to think that because they can put it on DVD they can pass it off as worth selling if this were my release I'd be ashamed of it

Maybe its just me or maybe my computer but the UK one looks the best....well the most clear anyway.
I do take your point though, a lot of movies that are coming out on DVD are really poor quality...might as well kepp the original VHS version - especially as most of the 80s movies dont have any added features

Wow! Ask and it shall be given. Thats pretty cool, although I am sorry that the quality is so poor, now I can add that to my list too. Groovy, that was a really great flick.
