I'm sure this topic probably has been posted before, but since I'm new here, I was wondering anyway: which love scene in a 80s movie did you like best?
For me, I guess it is Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis in Top Gun. I never liked Tom Cruise much, but oh man, this scene in her bedroom... Posts: 562 | From: Santa Carla | Registered: Oct 2003 | Site Updates: 0

I actually hated this movie- My Chauffer, but there is a scene, where Sam Jones is laying on the bed in his underwear, and I wish I could have jumped in the sceen and kicked Deborah Foreman out of there.

I wouldnt say this scene was HOT but it is my favorite love scene is in Catholic boys when Andrew McCarthy and Mary Stuart Masterson go on a date and Ottis Reading's 'Ive been loving you' is playing in the background, then they get caught in the rain then they kiss under the pier!!! Awww

Oh good question! Deathbystereo80 I would agree with you on the Top Gun thing definitely. I also really like the About Last night thing too, but the sequence that is accompanied by the song Livin Inside my Heart. The chemistry between Rob Lowe and Demi Moore is awesome in that movie.

I like the Living inside my heart sequence too, but I like when they are in the kitchen in the moonlight, and he tells her he loves her.

C'mon you guys! Fatal Attraction! Sex in a sink! You can be clean while you're being dirty!
J/K.
Little known film from 84 called Crimes of Passion has a couple of good love scenes. You'd have to choose between tender and nasty for this topic I guess.
Isis, why does Rob tell Belushi he said I love you first? "Aww, Dan, Dan, Dan, Dan."

My picks are Risky Business when Lana first shows up at Joel's house and then the infamous train ride they share together .
About Last Night, which I just saw for the first time in it's entirety, was really hot. Wow!!
The Rachel Papers also had some good love scenes.

Mikey kissing Andie in the cave in Goonies. Ok, I guess that's more like a PG13 love scene.

9 1/2 Weeks is on right now, and I completely have to agree with TKO... doesn't get much better.

I have to put my choice in bcoz it is so so hot ! Al Pacino & Ellen Barkin in "Sea of Love" Not much of a movie but worth renting for the love scene alone.

Bless you nothinglikebefore, I’m glad to know that there’s at least one other person that likes '9 ½ Weeks' too. It's a highly underrated movie, although it has a great storyline, cast, and not to forget a magnificent soundtrack.
I can’t say how much I have seen it,… it’s pathetic.

I can't believe this post has gotten this far without mentioning 'An Officer and a Gentleman'.

TKO and Nothinglikebefore, I absolutely 100% agree with you on 9 1/2 weeks! I remember that Mickey Rourke years later tried to get the same feeling across in another movie - Wild orchids or something - but it just wasn't the same at all!

You have to have a certain mindset to like 9 1/2 Weeks. Deathbystereo is right. Wild Orchid was horrible... such a dissapointment. I think you'd have to have a negative IQ to like that one. (Sorry if anyone here does)

Banshee, 'An Office And A Gentleman' had some steamy love scenes, but I hate both Richard Gere and Debra Winger...so that kinda ruined it for me.

Lol. Its a difficult decision to make as many movies had good love scenes in it. That was pretty funny though..it is kinda difficult to enjoy a love scene when there are actors in it you cant stand. I guess I would have to say anything from Risky Business..and older woman and a younger man..thats gotta be hot right?..
