Ok people, I have good news for all you Dream A Little Dream fans. It's comin out on dvd on Tuesday. Yea!!! Only 9.99 at Best Buy! Despite the fact that this is excellent news, I bought the vhs for 45$ last year. Bummer! O well, you win some, you lose some.

As far as I can tell there are no "extra" special featurs. But, I wasn't expecting it either. Amazon says that The dvd probably won't be released anywhere out of the US. My sympathies to you guys!

Yup, quickest way to kill 2nd hand VHS sales is to release the film on DVD. I saw Breakdance fetching £50+ regularly on ebay.co.uk before the DVD release, now nobody cares about the VHS. I got my tape for 50p before the crash
Although it isn't always the case, for instance The Gods Must Be Crazy 1 & 2 VHSs still fetch a bundle on eBay and the DVDs a bundle more because it was only released on DVD in South Africa and it's costly to import - if you can find somewhere online selling it! Also Freaked aka Hideous Mutant Freekz was only released on DVD in Germany, the VHS & DVD sell well on eBay so I've found.

Oh man, I can't believe this!!! What about us 80 freaks here in Europe? This is getting ridiculous, I'll just have to buy a DVD player that plays region 1 DVDs. And then go crazy at Amazon U.S. !!!
