I just watched it today on VHS. I think this is one of Eddie Murphy's best movies. Anyone here not see it? If you haven't you should really check it out.

Oh yeah, Delerious is great! I love Raw too. There are some great lines in that one as well.

Have you noticed how he's slipped bits of his Delirious show into films he's been in? like in Shrek, the fart game; "man you gotta warn somebody before you crack one off, my mouth was open and everything"

Ali, long has the golden child been quoted around these parts. "Only he whose heart is pure can wield the knife, and only he whose *** is narrow can fit through this stairway and if mine is such an *** then so be it."

I always wondered why that movie never made it as big as some of Eddie's other films. There are so many people I know that have never even seen it. I guess they're a buncha losers. Just kidding

The reason it didn't go down well at the time of release is simply that people knew Eddie as the loudmouthed, crude criminal or rogue cop that he played in 48Hrs and BH Cop. Seeing him at that time as the saviour of a tibetian boy buddhist monk was a stretch of belief a little too far.
