I have to see it, good, bad or otherwise. It's horror, and I love horror. I'll either buy it or watch it on PPV, not sure which one yet.

Wow Ronnie, it is totally nostalgic to see a thread that you started way back in 2003 come to fruition. Awesome to see some of the names on your thread from back then...Samurai Sweetie, Devo, Banshee, Ali_with_an_i, mamamiasweetpeaches, goonie_girl, Isis, kenkobra and the young, but incredibly edgy RiverPhoenix4life. (Does anyone know what happened to that girl? She is probably graduated from college by now)
OK, back to the Lost Boys II. I've never been a fan of sequels especially ones made years later, but I'll rent this DVD when it comes out. Ronnie, I wish they had gone with the whole female cast thing that you mentioned instead.
Also, I've been watching the trainwreck that is the Two Coreys and I'm just sitting is shock as I watch Corey Haim as he continues his spiraling fall from greatness. Corey Feldman is still annoying, but who would have thought he would be the more together of the two Coreys now?
pettyfan, I'm like you, good or bad, I have to see it. You love horror...give me some hidden gems from the 80's. I'm more into the comedy horror like "Night of the Comet" and "Night of the Creeps" to name a couple.

Yeah, I figured it was. The whole "text messaging" speak can be a bit annoying to read. Not to insult anyone. Really.

Did anyone watch the Two Coreys last night, it was the actual trainwreck and it unfortunately occurred on the set of Lost Boys II? Sad stuff.

I didn't even realize that Corey Haim was even in this sequel...I thought how can they do a sequel without him ...I just looked up the You Tube clip of him freaking out....
Has anyone seen the new movie to see how it turned out with his part?
That's also sad...that his character in the first Lost Boys was such a clean cut, cute young boy...and now look what happened to him.
Corey Feldman was in that You Tube Clip, and they had him with the same hairdo and same camo outfit, and headband ,he was wearing in the first one...he almost looked exactly the same.

I assume he's in it?
I think it will be interesting to watch.

Well I watched this the other day - yikes not so good, the lead vampire and the other male lead were just horrible actors - Feldman had some good one liners though. Definitely you're not missing anything if you decide to make like it never happened (probably the best recommendation).

So, was Haim in it at all?

Hey maddog, the July 29th release date is the DVD release date. I'm pretty sure this is a direct to video release.

Haim showed up in the end credits - nothing to write home about.

I love this movie. I think it's one you either love or hate. I was mesmerized by Star, which might explain why I've dated a few girls that wear gypsy clothes and have really long, full, curly hair. I love the soundtrack too. Even boinked to it. Anyway, I've heard about the sequel for years. I did see a clip of Corey and Corey where Feldman accepted the role to be in the sequel, but Haim was not welcome to return. So, I think eventually this will happen. I've read that the original idea was to make it a group of female vampires. As long as they don't lose the spirit of the first film, I'm all for it. A gang of badgirl vampires sounds hot. Please make at least one look like Star.
