…I just noticed today that this movie is on DVD now, although it’s already available from April 2003. I haven’t seen this movie since 1984, but I do remember I liked it much more than the Breakin’ movies. In my opinion ‘Beat Street’ was more realistic, the soundtrack was better and also the breakdancing itself was far more superior than in any other hip-hop movie I've ever seen. It’s definitely 'a must have' for me.

Krush Groove was released on dvd in January of this year, and a decent job done by Warner's with director's commentary and the "Krush Groovin" music video included among the bonus features. Beat Street, Wild Style, Breakin', Breakin' 2 and Rappin' are other great hip-hop inspired 80's movies available on dvd.

I have still not seen Beat Street or Krush Groove. Best breakdancin' has to be them funky OAPs getting down in Cocoon!
Naa, I'm hoping for a TV screening of Beat Street one day, I didn't think much of Wild Style or Breakdance 2. Although Breakdance and Rappin' were quite decent.
