Have you noticed how many actors from 80's films are turning up on TV shows in small roles.Just the other night I saw Alan Ruck (Ferris' best pal Cameron) have about 4 minutes of screen time in SCRUBS,even less than he has in SPIN CITY! He looked really rough! Christian Slater has been appearing in episodes of ALIAS. Is this what happens then? Huge one year,nobody the next! Obviously it's different if they had the lead role in a TV show like Keifer has in 24 (turned his career around WOW) and I know not every one can be Tom or Harrison,but it,s a bit sad to see someone who pulled off a great performance in a 2 hour movie,go to less than 5 mins in a sit-com or soap on TV.So you see 80's stars truly don't die,they're just forgotten about

Yeah I noticed alot of 80s stars on tv , butthere is a bright side to this. they're still working. Some 80s stars are not involved with acting at all. Also look at all the actors and actresses that are in this world who have never had a job on the big or small screen. Just another way to look at it.

One of my favorite 80's actors, Anthony Michael Hall, now has his own series, the Dead Zone. It's a great show. He was out of the spotlight for quite a while and I had always wondered what happened to him when this series turned up last year. I also heard that Rob Lowe was working on a new series as well.

Living in CA there has been a lot publicity about Schwartznegger becoming governer. I'd vote for him. But NEwaz, If he is elected he's going to bring Rob Lowe on his staff. Craziness!

Eric Stoltz - I can't even keep track of how many TV shows he's been on - Chicago Hope, Once and Again... The most recent is "Out of Order" on Showtime, but it's not being renewed.
Our favorite 80s bad guy, James Spader will be leading "The Practice" come September.
Charlie Sheen has his new sitcom with Jon Cryer(!) this season as well.
It's odd cause I was pondering this myself recently...I guess they have all hit that age where they don't feel like fighting for the shrinking number of roles for not-so-young actors.

Good Luck to Jon Cryer. He is one of my favorite actors and Hiding Out is such a great movie. I hope this show is a success.
