I'd love to know the title of this movie so that I could see it again. I don't think this website has it listed. Here goes: a kid in a wheelchair and his family move into a new house. During the night, a kid alien (who somehow ended up on Earth) sneaks into the house and drills holes in the walls, and trashes the place. The family wakes up and is upset that someone vandalized their house, but they wake up again the next morning and everything is fixed. The kid in the wheelchair nearly falls off a cliff near his house, and the little alien saves him. They become friends. The little alien loves to drink Coke and makes little windmills out of drinking straws. What is this movie???? :-)

Sounds like Max and Me. I think that was the name of it, I tried looking it up at the imdb, but found nothing. I hope this rings a bell. Sorry I couldn't have been more help.

Definitely on the right tracks, "Mac and Me" - http://us.imdb.com/Title?0095560 number 68 in the IMDB bottom 100, at the weekend I picked up "Space Mutiny" - http://us.imdb.com/Title?0096149 number 4 in the bottom 100, soon found out why it was so high...

Mac and Me was a rip-off of E.T. when i watched it there was a big song and dance number set in a McDonalds...even Ronald McDonald had a cameo...they made McDonalds out to be greater than disneyland. Then I pieced it together "MAC and me" Mac as in "Mac donalds!!!!" they sponsored the movie,as did the ever present Coke.

Oh my goodness - now that you say that thing about the McDonald's song and dance, I remember! I guess I'd idealized the movie in my mind after all this time - sounds sorta cheesy and awful. *LOL* Well, thanks anyway for your help, guys!

And to top it all off the alien family got given American citizenship at the end, if that were an X-Files episode they'd be sliced & diced in the name of extra terrestrial research
