The whole Some Kind Of Wonderful soundtrack was great, including 'Amanda Jones'. 'I Go Crazy', and my favorite, 'Brilliant Mind'.

Most of John Hughes' earlier movies had superb tracks with a lot of the music taken from the brit-pop scene, which at the time was not well known stateside. I recon that this is one of the reasons that his moveies were do good - they had an edge to them that was different from anything else at the time.

I love " "Rock Until You Drop" " too Squadron. I always loved that song from the movie. I've been searching for that song for awhile but I still haven't found it...if it even exists anymore.

Power of Love - Back to the Future
Eye of the Tiger - Rocky
No Easy Way Out - Rocky IV
Go For It - Rocky V (I"m not sure if this is an 80's movie or not...it may be early 90's)
Cruel Summer - Karate Kid
You're the Best - Karate Kid Karate Kid
On Our Own - Ghostbusters 2

Devolution here,
Rocky V is the red headed step child of the rocky movies.
Some of them just needed a paycheck.

Go for it?
I don't know, Stick with Eye of the Tiger, a much better move.

That is my fav too, see we aren't different at all! Hehehe. My friend, made me a collection of CD's from the 80's and put the Cry Little Sister song on there- but I had it on CD already.
But, he did put the music from Fright Night on it too-it is just music-no words, and I love it. I can't remember the name of it now.

I also love Kenny Loggins: Holiday Road, and I'm Allright from Caddyshack.

I love the goofy songs from the 80's and I told someone else about this website-I think, Duckie, but it's www.kidrhino.com, and it has Dr. Demento's hits on there, and it's a 2 disc collection of hits like: Monster Mash, and Maddah Faddah, but I like the song Junk Food Junkie-which nobody I know knows it.

I also like the song Makin It- from Meatballs, and I liked the tv show Makin too-that was on briefly.

I also love the whole soundtrack to The Night the Lights went out in Georgia, and Little Darlings-the first song, where they're singing it in the opening- it might be called: Give the boys something to dream about??
