I don't remember to much about this movie so please bear with me. I believe it's a romantic comedy centering around a guy and a girl. The dude, from what I remember has special powers, running fast was on of the powers. The thing was that everytime he sees the color red, he looses his special abilities/powers. I think the movie takes place in Chicago and towards the end he crashes a wedding and gets back together with the love of his life. I'm not all sure, but I think this was a 80's movie and one that I never see replayed. Anyone remember this movie? Thanks

Sorry, that's not the one. The movie wasn't about a superhero. Remember he LOOSES his powers when seeing red and it was a romantic-comedy, not Sci-Fi. Thanks anyway.

Yes I do know what you mean by the force. Except it's been so long since I've used it. Super Fuzz, not sure that's the movie, but it sounds very similar. It says he was excuted, that I know didn't happen. Thanks guys......

Hi O.B.1, The movie where the character loses his powers when he sees red is definitely 'Super Fuzz' (also known as 'Super Trooper' and 'Super Snooper'). They don't actually execute him in the film, because his powers prevent it. The film has a strong romantic element running between him and his girlfriend, who he wins back at the end of the movie. It's possible you might be getting two films mixed up though; 'Modern problems' (1981) was a Chevy Chase movie about a guy that gains super powers and uses them win back his girlfriend. Nothing to do with red though. http://us.imdb.com/Title?0082763Posts: 3383 | From: England | Registered: May 2003 | Site Updates: 21

He should put that Light Sabre down,he could have someones arm off with that. Nice cloak though.....brown is so this season. Nicely accessorised with the white beard. Truly a Force to be reckoned with.

Was there a part in SuperFuzz, where the lead character blows a giant piece of bubble gum to float away or catch himself falling or something? I know I've seen that in a movie once but I don't remember what movie it was. Hmmmm......

Just bought a copy of this movie through Ebay, so I'll let you know if there is indeed a scene like the one you described Ali_with_an_i.
