I'm trying to find the name of a movie that had a pop can that crumples back or something and a girl is rescued from bed near the end of the movie or something.....that's all I can really remember.I mostly just remeber the trash can part...i think it might walk or something? maybe not.......

"The Golden Child (1986)" http://us.imdb.com/Title?0091129 starring Eddie Murphy could be the film you're thinking of, he has to rescue this young Tibetan kid and the kid from a distance makes a Pepsi can crush down, spring back up and turn into a small figure that starts tap dancing. (have to check my DVD to find out what the can does exactly)
