We watched it this afternoon. For an almost 40 year old movie, it still holds up. I have not seen it in a very long time. It would’ve been nice to see it in the theater back in the 80’s I watched it on VHS my first time viewing.

1981. Definitely held up nicely. I saw it at the Blue Ridge theater in kansas city missouri which no longer exists. It was fantastic! It still ranks in my top 10. "THATS JUST MY PET SNAKE REGGIE" "Snakes, why'd it have to be snakes" "Esps.....very dangerous"

It's held up nicely for a movie that used to scare me as a kid. I guess that's why it's still one of my favs.

It's still a great movie. I love the first 3, I think they all have their own great qualities.
There were some quite scary parts in them for kids/family films.
Marion: You're not the man I knew ten years ago. Indiana: It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.
