Stand by me and Goonies are some of the most cherished movies of my youth. That 85-86 period was gold! Just comparing characters of Vern and Chunk in their respective groups and realise they both have the same kind of high jinks fun and craziness. They both still crack me up. Could swear I went to school with similar characters like them, what did we call them? Class clowns? I love Vern, but something about Chunk that just makes him a bit crazier. Probably his endorsement of Sloth, and him living with his family after the crooks were caught!

Oh I love this comparison! I have got to say that Chunk would win because he is more vocal than Vern. Vern would run away at the sound of Chunk's voice. Also if you take into consideration the eras of the film, Chunk would have seen a lot more karate movies than Vern! [Wink]
