Does anybody else have a theatre near you that plays older movies? We are fortunate to have one just 7 minutes from us. We have only been to a couple over the last couple years...Christmas Vacation and more recently The GOONIES which was a good experience. Some of the upcoming showings are SIXTEEN CANDLES this week. Others are The PRINCESS BRIDE, E.T. and the SANDLOT.
Anyone...Anyone?

ARRRRGHHHHHH!!!! This makes me angry!! We actually have a Cineplex theatre 5 mins from my house w' 6-7 screens, however, they never play any older movies. Frustrating, as about 1.5 hours away in the city, they seem to occasionally play some old classics. I would love to re-visit some 80's classics in the theatre...I'm jealous...but happy for you...well...kind of....

There is one in the Lawrenceville section of the city of Pittsburgh, called Rowhouse Cinema. They also have food and beer next door, and you can take your drinks into the theater. I have not gone there yet. Like I've said before, it is like pulling teeth to get people to do anything/ go anywhere outside of their 3-5 mile radius. They did have a BTTF showing during the anniversary.

This weekend is a John Carpenter theme at Row House Cinema. Big Trouble in Little China is one of the choices. I'd love to go see it in Sat. night.
