I'm guilty of watching movies that fit the time of year. Well it's winter now, so let's hear your favorite 80's movies that take place in the winter, or have a good winter feel, that are not Christmas movies.
My favorite movie to watch this time of year is Groundhog Day. Phil?!?! Phil Connors??!!

You do make a very valid point there Bernie, something to raise the spirits on these long dark winter nights!
What temperatures you hitting where you are at the moment Bernie,is it starting to get seriously hot?

Yep. ****ing hot. I need to watch some of these winter movies to cool down. Is it freezing in England?
May times we will go through a week or so where it is over 40-45 degrees and it just kills you. Occasionally it can get up to as highs as 49/50 degrees but that is very rare. It does get cold here at times too but probably never anything lower than a few degrees.

Bernie, that would be smart! I usually start watching my summer movies at the end of winter to get me looking forward to good weather. It's very cold today, so maybe I should bust out a good summer movie tonight to help thaw out.

When I went out in my car today it was reading 3 degrees,so it's getting quite chilly and then dropping down to about minus 4 or 5 over night so its not very pleasant, roll on the summer I say!
Saying that your having your summer right now

Same here Warrior. This morning was the coldest of this winter at -3*F. At least the suns out though. Winter time is great IMO. Anything below 30*F I don't like and today isn't pleasant but the break from all the outside work during the warm part of the year is a nice break to get other things done.

your summers are crazy hot terd, years back when i went to atlanta it felt hotter than hell the whole 10 days i was there, touching on 100 everyday, then when i watched the weather while i was out there i noticed that texas was nearly 10 degrees hotter still and that the mid states kansas etc were also a few degrees warmer than hotlanta. it's bonkers,i dont know how you survive,no wonder some years the crops are completely shot to **** and you get dust storms!
i bet you sometimes prey for winter just for the chance of cooling down!

Hahaha! Na. Its not that bad. We like the change of seasons just dont like the extremes at each end of the temp gage. Anything over 90f with hi humidity keeps me inside for the most part. Didn't used to but getting older and it has a negative effect.

Me too.
Also have a soft spot for Ice Castles and Ice Princess. Something about the skating theme...
