I cannot remember the name of the movie - it was kind of an action comedy with robot who had tracks like a tank and a laser on his shoulder. Who were the actors and what was the year? Can anyone remember?

Hi Brock, welcome to the board! I believe the film you are talking about is Short Circuit(1985), starring Steve Guttenburg and Ally Sheedy. You can find more ingo at www.imdb.com since there is not a page for it here yet. Hope this helps!
