Young warrior, I don't recall seeing any of those movies, or if I did, I have completely forgotten about them. I will definitely try to watch all of them!

I have to say I never liked Making the Grade at all. I feel like I should, but whenever I watch it I just can't bring myself to like it. Crazy Moon is a lovely little romantic comedy. Oddballs is a Canadian camp movie mess that for a brief period as a kid was actually my favourite movie (!) It really really is silly though. Volunteers is a pretty good movie from when Tom Hanks was primarily a comedic actor. I believe he met his wife (the lead actress) on this. Not great, but well worth watching for Hanks, Candy and the ever reliable Tim Thomerson.

Anybody seen this 1992 Italian shocker Body Puzzle by Demons director Lamberto Bava and starring the lovely Joanna Pacula,it's just been announced for a UK Blu Ray release from 88 Films.
Before today I don't think I've ever heard of this one or if I had it went straight over my head, anyone seen it and if so is it any good?
In the mid 90's Body Puzzle was released on sell-through VHS in the UK by a company called Arthouse Productions LTD. Body Puzzle, along with Lamberto Bava's Macabre, came out through that label in their 'Taste Of Fear' series.
I actually still have these !
I'm not familiar with any other releases in that Taste Of Fear series, but i guess there must have been quite a few. According to the sleeve, Macabre was number 4 (released in '95) and Body Puzzle was number 29 (released in '96).

I´m shocked that you don´t enjoy MtG!
The cast in Oddballs is so young that i can understand why it has no nudity but who cares because there´s nurses like Kimberly Brooks

Not sure whether I've asked about this one before but has anybody watched the 1983 sci - fi thriller Brainstorm starring Christopher Walken,Louis Fletcher,Cliff Robertson and in her final role Natalie Wood.

That would be cool atomik,my birthday next month so if it's any good I might get the wife to get me a copy!
If it's not so great I'll probably look at watching it sometime on a rental.

I am not a huge fan of Brainstorm, though I have to admit there is some very good acting and special effects in it. Natalie Wood's death, I think, put a real damper on the proceedings. Had she lived, I think that it probably would have been a better film.

I feel like I should, but I just don't. It just doesn't work for me.

I always thought it should have nudity as there were tons of attractive women in it, and it has a 'frat' feel. But it's like the movie is being targeted at kids so they just didn't do it.

I like Brainstorm quite a bit, but as Crash said it isn't perfect as they completed the movie 'around' Natalie Woods tragic death (did he? Didn't he?) As a result they worked with what they had, and while the film is more flawed for it, it's still worth watching.

I know that sequels usually go downhill with each one they make, but should I watch Revenge of the Nerds III and IV?

I have absolutely no memory of either 3 or 4. But 1 and 2 are excellent (1 is excellent 2 is good). Make of that what you will...

I don't remember anything about ROTN 3 but I do remember that I have tried to watch part 4. "Tried" is the key word here. I could not get through it. Perhaps if you find it extremely cheap you might give it a shot.

Since there was some discussion about Theresa Russell in the 70's Movie thread, it reminded me of this one :
Insignificance (1985)
This came out right in the middle of our favorite decade, has a terrific cast (including Theresa Russell), a bizarre story, and is directed by the great Nicolas Roeg..

I have seen it and think that it's excellent. It's based on a stage play, but director Nic Roeg uses his usual fractured editing techniques to make it really interesting. All the performers are fantastic, including Tony Curtis and Gary Busey.

I saw it years ago. My only memory is that it was an odd mess and Marilyn meets Einstein. I might need to rewatch it...

I've seen Like Father, Like Son. But I was pretty young when I saw it, so haven't watched it in years. I haven't got around to seeing Big yet, but it's on my 'To Watch List'. So, I'll see it soon. But I do like body swap comedy movies!

The two best body swap movies of the 80's were Big and Vice Versa. I also love the 70's Freaky Friday.
