What we need, is a company that releases these teen classics on dvd/blu-ray and gives them the "Arrow treatment". U know, lots of extra material and nice booklets etc.
I know that it´s only a wet dream but i like that kind of dreams

my vhs of the wild life is knackered,i need to upgrade to the dvd when i get chance, pity someone like arrow has never picked it up,it's a universal studios release as well so there's always a possibility as arrow have released a few of there titles in the past - the people under the stairs, the burbs etc.
i see arrow distribute in north america as well now but the trouble is there that they sometimes don't have the rights to release both sides of the atlantic hence here in the uk we get a really cool burbs blu ray release where as stateside they get nothing!
i reckon the wild life would sell a bundle for whoever picked it up as it's a film that's got a good cult following.

If you read the reviews you can see that they have changed the soundtrack so the vhs version is still the one to get. Here´s an interesting article and The Wild Life is included: http://www.empireonline.com/features/films-not-on-DVD/p1Posts: 7054 | From: Finland | Registered: Feb 2008 | Site Updates: 7

Wow, thanks for posting this. I am a regular amazon customer and I wasn't even aware of this. I ordered a copy yesterday, and hoping it comes as advertised. I came very close to seeking out a bootleg copy online, but glad I waited. It's a bummer about the music. I have the soundtrack on tape and vinyl so that should keep me at bay. I also have a vhs copy which is a little worn. I wish there were extra features too, but can't be too fussy considering the long wait for this.

One of my favorites. It's like a hidden little gem. I enjoyed Chris Penn. Jenny Wright was so cool & beauituful. Young Ilan-Mitchell Smith as a badass...Thompson & Stoltz?!? Come on!! Doesn't get better!! I want to go shop at Fashion Dynasty now!! Lol!!

Be careful with Amazon! I thought I finally ordered the film, but they sent me some WC Fields film instead. I sent it back last week and will probably have to wait for refund and begin the process all over again. Maybe it was meant to be. The curse of Wild Life or something!
