1983's The Osterman Weekend is perhaps best known for being the final film ever directed by Sam Peckinpah (he died the next year after its release) and was based on the novel by Robert Ludlum, who is famous for writing the Jason Bourne series.
Plus the cast is pretty stacked with the likes of Rutger Hauer, John Hurt, Craig T. Nelson, Burt Lancaster, Dennis Hopper, Chris Sarandon and Meg Foster. The film flopped and has largely been forgotten since, but what are your thoughts about this flick?

I`ll have to check this one out...I own a copy but never got around to watching it. The cover is a very vivid 80`s image for me. Back in the day we had the First Choice movie channel and I remember this always being previewed...always on at a late hour, so never got to watch it as a kid. I also remember seeing this in the video stores...again...a solid image-memory that I`m fond of.
