Between the spam that infested the forums and the sheer running costs that are all paid out of my own pocket, this site so very nearly went the way of the dodo..
It costs nearly £100 per month in fees to keep this site running which have never been covered by any of the people buying stuff through the site or clicking the banners on the forums.
I know its a difficult subject, but if you could please try and remember to click through to Amazon or eBay from this site every time you are going to buy something then that would really help a lot. Currently the site earns about $10 a month and I really need that to improve. I am personally going through very tough times having been made redundant and so paying for this site is a real burden. If you remember to click through from this site every time then we get a few cents each time you buy something and it costs you nothing extra. If enough people do it, things will be much better...
IMPORTANT: You DON'T have to click through a link to the actual product that you want to buy. Any product will do or just use the following links:
If you feel so inclined, you can donate from the "About us" page on the site. You will have my eternal gratitude!
If you haven't already registered for your free trial of Amazon prime, then please do so from the banners on these forum pages. It doesn't cost you a penny but they donate for everyone who does. Just make sure you cancel before 30 days if you don't want to continue using the service. In the meantime you can watch thousands of movies for FREE!
Thank you very much in anticipation

Will use the links from now on. I always wondered why the forum disappeared. I'm glad it's back and I hope the site continues for many years to come. I've been coming to this site for well over 10 years now... Wow how time flys

I have done it once before a couple years ago but how do you donate money to the site again? Like just a straight donation? I am a student but I get a lot out of the site. I can afford a few bucks here and there.
This site is like no other. I don't buy much off Ebay but I will try to remember when I do. I am definitely guilty of not using the links.
We should try to think of a way to raise money for the site. Like some sort of fundraiser etc. I would be happy to be a part of it.
Anyone got any unique ideas?

Hi Bernie anything you can do would be extremely appreciated. You can donate from the "about us" page on the main site and I will of course update your profile to show that you have done so by way of thanks.
If anyone has any ideas of how to help the situation I would be very grateful and would help in any way I can... Thanks again

Hi Nick. Like I said, I am a student and can't afford much. So expensive being a full time student and living by yourself. Argghhh.
I just donated $27.39 AUS which is $20.00 USD. I will try to manage to do similar when I can. Hopefully some of you guys who spend a lot of time on here can help too if you can afford to.
It's not a big donation but I am sure if everyone made some contributions it would certainly help.
I hope this somewhat helps
Do you have an eBay Australia link?
I am intending to buy something on eBay but will hold off on that until I get an eBay Australia link

Thats very kind of you Bernie.. Thanks very much, its very much appreciated!
I've actually managed to find some 'real' work for a couple of days and are pulling long hours, but when I get a moment, I'll try and sort out an eBay Aus link.. Thanks for your patience and understanding, you're a star!

No worries Nick. It's not much but hopefully it might encourage some others to do the same. I think if everyone made a donation from time to time it might go a long way to covering your monthly costs.
I know many people can't afford to but if you've got even 5 bucks left in your account that is just going to sit there between now and next pay day, perhaps consider donating it to the site.
I am really glad you managed to find some work even if it's only temporary. No rush on the link. I will be patient
You're the real star Nick. There is no way I could come up with a site like this
I was thinking that a good idea would be to have a thread called the "I just bought something off eBay/Amazon". Any time someone buys something they can make a post saying they did so and if they want can even tell us what the item was. But obviously be sure to use the eBay/Amazon links on the site.

Nick,Paul,I keep having problems using the eBay UK link,it lets me go through to there site but when it comes to making a payment through PayPal it won't go through, then if I close down the eBay page which has opened through your link and then open eBay directly it then let's me purchase said item with no problems whatsoever.
No idea which end the problem lies at just that I thought i'd bring It to your attention just in case there was something up with the site link.
