Ahhhh... Roger Corman... The low budget master. B.B.T.S. was made to "cash in" on the SCI-FI craze triggered by Star Wars. I clearly remember going to see it...

This movie was purely an exercise in strengthening the wallet of Corman and the studio - the fact that it's quite enjoyable too is really a bonus. Richard Thomas from The Waltons to give it family value appeal, Cybil Danning as the Valkyrie warrior to appeal to all of the guys who would never go to see 'Waltons In Space' and some cuddly aliens. It's a wonder people still talk of this movie fondly, but there you go - that's the wonderful world of movies in the eighties!
