I am new here and wondered if on HBO or somewhere that there will be a broadcast of War Games (1983) It was released on June 3, 1983 I know about the 25th anniversary which I missed. I would think that the 30th should be acknowledged. I was 34 and this is one of my fav's of the 80's.

I watched wargames again for the first time in many many years the other month and it sure is an awesome 80s movie.

I watched it on the recent blu ray release and it looked and sounded terrific.

Not sure if it's due to be shown on HBO as I'm from the UK but someone on here will be able to help you.

It stands to reason somebody'll show it on the day of the 30th, as well it should be.

Great movie! Saw it when I was in 5th grade and still one of my all time favs.

I remember watching wargames when it first hit the UK rental shelf's back in 83/84 here in the UK and remember absolutely loving the movie and being in awe of Broderick's bedroom with him having at the time a state of the art computer and the fact he got to play on video games before going to school (that last bit sounds a lot like my kids the only difference it's with there Xbox).

Yeah it's an awesome movie!
