I remeber watching a film when I was about 6 (late 80's) with a "league of extraordinary gentlemen" feel.
1. A guy outruns a spherical bullet and picks up a guantlet from some armour and deflects the bullet from it's intended target.
2. A guy holding onto a cannonball flying through the air lets go and catches onto a cannonball traveling in the opposite direction and is returned to his original start point.
I believe the title of the film is also the name of the main character in the film, it was in colour and "live-action" considering the time of its release.
