Of those grand musical themes that brought home the atmosphere of their respective films without the benefit of words, which do you think was the best. A couple of obvious choices would make up my own top 5:

1. Back to the Future theme, Alan Silvestri
2. "Raider's March," John Williams
3. Terms of Endearment theme, Michael Gore
4. E.T. theme, John Williams
5. Batman theme, Danny Elfman

2. Going the Distance - Rocky

3. Batman theme

4. Shawshank Redemption - so was red/end titles

5. Necessary Roughness - Victory Theme

honorable mentions dances with wolves- john dunbar theme

i would have included bloodsport kumite finals theme, but it didnt sound orchestral
