Hi, I'm new here, so I hope I'm doing this correctly and that the question has not already been answered. This is driving me nuts and I have searched high and low for an answer to no avail...so, here goes.
I'm actually trying to figure out a song I heard (that I don't remember the name of but loved) within a movie that I don't remember the name of! But I have faith in this community, so here goes. From what I remember, it was most likely a made for tv movie sometime in the early 80's...it was about an urban neighborhood (possibly Hispanic) and focused on a young engaged couple that struggled throughout their engagement. The song plays during a scene in which the couple are each in their respective bedrooms talking on the phone. If I remember correctly, one scene shows the bride crying in the bathroom at her wedding reception because she found out the new husband did something hurtful. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
OK, I found that someone else is looking for the title of this movie too...this is her description of it: "There is this young Italian-American couple in Brooklyn, NY (or New Jersey, I'm not sure) who are going to get married. At their wedding reception, (towards the end of the movie) the groom wants to go out and party with his best men instead of celebrating his marriage with his new bride. The bride finds out about his plans and goes into a women's bathroom to cry. He follows her into the bathroom so that they could find a solution to their problem."
