"In a post-apocalyptic world, a warrior wandering through the desert comes upon a group of settlers who are being menaced by a murderous gang that is after the water they control." (IMDb)
Watched this pretty cool post-apocalyptic action movie last night. It was directed by Lance Hool (Missing in Action 2: The Beginning) Starring Patrick Swayze, Lisa Niemi, Brion James, Anthony Zerbe and Christopher Neame.
I really liked the fight scenes. Swayze and Neame did a very good job. Zerbe was the main evil boss but he was only watching

Of course there´s a little romance here too, because we are talking about a real life couple here (Swayze/Niemi). I also liked the score composed by Brian May. (Not the Queen dude)
Nice swords, fun vehicles and it was shocking to see Brion James as one of the good guys. Check it out if you happen to like low-budget sandpit flicks. Swayze´s legacy will live on!

I love this movie. 80's post-apocalyptic cheese! Always loved his sword. The Glaive is my favorite movie weapon, but his hole-y sword is up there!

I love Steel Dawn and would easily place it amongst my favourite post apocaplyptic movies. as a Swayze movie I think only Roadhouse surpasses it. The fight scenes are excellent and the score is well written. B+
