The film I am trying to identify I think came from the 80's and was likely quite a B movie. The plot involved a group of people aboard some spacecraft that were carrying forests after earth became unable to support them. The story proceeded to get 2 sides fighting against each other with some of the craft being destroyed and the last one having the custodian killing off the remaining crew to live out the rest of his life in the forest drifting through space. That's all I can recall of it so if this brief description gives you any ideas I would be grateful of your advice.
