is it this weekend in the states you have both the conan remake plus the fright night remake being released .
i'm not a real big fan of remakes but at the same time i still end up watching most of them at some point just out of curiosity!
one positive for me gotta go back is at least conan and fright night have both gone the way of a 'r' rating.
i know it's not a remake but i caught a few trailers for shark night 3d the other day and thought that looks like some good trashy fun, then found out it's been rated pg-13 and for some reason it's just killed it dead for me!

I'll be watching the original at some point, but probably not the remake - chances for a night at the flicks (outside of kids movies) are too precious and rare to waste on somehting like this one......

I saw the new Conan The Barbarian a couple of weeks ago and re watched the original last week; the new one wins hands down. I find the original to be completely boring but the new one is packed with action and a lot of fun. It's not a fantastic movie that I'd watch again and again but it was a good movie for our date-night.

I only saw the trailer for the 2011 version, but i wasn't really impressed. All i saw was just another modern, flashy flick with waaaaaaaaaaay too many computer-generated special effects. I'll rather spend my money on the recently released blu-ray version of the original (and its sequel) instead.

Nope. The Arnold Conan is all I need. Nevermind the remake. Not interested.
